Next Century to Raise First Outside Round of Capital
Establishement of IOM Company: Monitoring
Solutions, Inc.
Reston, VA – April 16, 2003 – Next Century
Technologies, Inc. of Reston, Virginia announced today that
it intends to seek a round of equity capital and that it has
established a new company called Monitoring Solutions, Inc.
Next Century (“NCT”) is a privately owned
holding company with an international focus on medical
technology, distribution services and outsourcing services
in the healthcare and biotechnology markets. The Company’s
initial focus has been in the cardiology, neurology,
neurosurgery and emergency medicine sectors. The Company
has operations in the United States, Mexico and the United
Kingdom.
NCT has established a wholly owned
subsidiary to perform outsourcing services in the rapidly
expanding intra-operative monitoring (IOM) market.
Monitoring Solutions, Inc. is based in Reston and plans to
expand via internal growth and key acquisitions.

demand for equipment for IOM applications demonstrated an
